Worth sticking with the older 5.0? Both the same price and its for a Pitch(really just for an Alps trip and other more DHlite stuff).

The RC2 is like a DHX 6.0.... assuming they're both tuned correctly to the bike/rider/terrain, doubt you'd notice any difference without looking down at the shock.

Same price? I'd get the RC2 personally...

Tuned Vanilla R over either of those two would be my choice.

got a rc2 on my dh bike (it came with it). set it up for my weight/bike/riding and forgotten about - works great but i can't tell naff all difference if it would be any worse using a dhx at my level. tbh unless it specifically came with a frame/bike you were getting just stick with the dhx5, i have one on my heckler and never let me down/had any issues and stick loads of adjustments if you like fiddling with it

Mmm thinking a pushed van rc could be an option.

Why the RC over the R? Do you feel the need to frequently adjust your compression?

Possibly and I would need something to fiddle with 🙂
