Anybody own more than one type.

Looking for some performance shorts for sportives and mtb marathons. Got the Earnleys and they bunch a bit at the front and was wondering if the finchdean and knowle suffer the same problem? Are the two top end ones really worth over twice as much as the basic Earnleys?

I felt my Merston 3/4 bibs were a huge improvement over the Earnley 3/4 bibs I had before but this involved a change in weight too as the Merstons are a cold weather model. The stitching mas much more solid too though. Suits my pocket and does a a fine job.

I love their top end jerseys, never had a prob but their tights stitching fell apart but hope they have improved (mine are 2yrs old now but low use) as said by Surfr.

I'm swayed by Endura for my' top end stuff as they have good aftersales care and have repaired any probs.

imho if you want something as good as assos but cheaper try giordana.
They are a slightly small fit but don't get a size up 'cos if they're on the small size they are comfier as they stay in place better.

I've got some Finchdean bibs and like them a lot, although when I first got them I did wonder if the pad would cause me problems as it felt a bit bulky. Dunno if that helps you much though- I've only really used Endura stuff before so can't compare them to Assos or anything.
