Have a couple of pairs of the lower 'Race' models and find them really comfy, not sure if they are quite as good as the Finchdeans but damn close so I'd take a gamble that the Pro is excellent.

I have had a pair for the last few weeks. I have ridden about 200 miles in them so far, including 100 miles at the Thetford Summer Enduro on Saturday. I have found them very comfy and they are wearing well. I don't have the Finchdeans from last year, but do have a pair of last years Earnley bib-shorts which I don't like as the pad seems to be too far forward. I also have a few pairs of olders DHB bib shorts (I am not sure of which model they are, probably Finchdean) the one problem I have found with the older ones is the padding in the pad will eventually start to break down, the one in the new ones looks to be a higher quality.

The white stripes on the legs may not be to everyones taste.

Unless you have to have Assos I don't think you will go wrong with these.

They're very good. I have last year's Finchdeans and Knowles and comfort-wise they're at least as good (pad is slightly better IMO and the leg gripper is very good), no problems with the stitching so far either (a known problem with the Finchdeans). Done a few road rides over 50 miles on them now and they've performed as well or better than any other shorts I've tried (inc. Assos F5 Uno's). Was tempted to try the Castelli's everyone's raving about but in the end just ordered a second pair of the DHB Aeron Pros

cheers guys - nice little reviews cheers! yeah most the reviews ive seen tell me i should get these and not bother spending more on anything else...

what is the sizing like? im slim 30inch waist and the small finchdean fits me fine, any reason not to go for them again sizing wise?

I'm an XL in all 3 DHB shorts models I have, haven't really noticed anything tighter/looser than normal on the Aeron Pros...
