Took part in my first DH race for a few years at the weekend, having a go at round 1 of the Woodlands Winter Series at Gawton. I've been more about enduro racing over the last few years - more riding time for your money and all that, but had a lot of fun and it was a fair whack cheaper, so got some motivation to do a few more over the winter now. Finishing 5th in Masters helped with the enjoyment factor too no doubt!

Anyone else dabble a bit in some winter DH action?

Yep DH is great & none of that tiresome having to ride uphill. I dont think there are any southern events, so the honey series in February or so will be my 1st.

Cheers Weeksy.

Nothing in the south? That's a shame oldtalent.

The southwest is well catered for with the Woodlands series and 661 Mini DH at FoD fortunately. There must be some other series around?
