If they've not invited Fabian Cancallera then it's really not worth talking about. Will be filmed well though as its a Red bull event.

there was a similar event a couple of years ago in the states somewhere. IIRC Myles Rockwell won it in body armour/peakless fullfacer on a road-ish bike with bb7's.

At the end of the video it says "Riders Wanted:" and then some URL.

I have never done anything like that on the glossop side of snakes pass with a random couple of roadies i was caught by on the cimb.

The dry stone walled left hander at the bottom is not to be taken off the brakes unless you are very brave!

~Top half was good fast as **** fun though!

60mph is easy in the Alps and the locals know to get out of your way!

We have done high 50s on the tandem in the moorfoot hills. 60 mph is not hard - I thought the TDF guys hit 70+ on some of the descents

such a rush i rode maybe 20m back up where i came from before realising that the hill was very big and i was fudged.

Done 52mph on the flat when I was young + foolish back in the late 80's. Sucked along by a huge luxury coach on Formby Bypass - even overtook a few cars.
