Looking for a pair of as thin as possible waterproof socks.

Came across Dexshell are these as good/ better than Sealskinz ?

Not for me.... filled with water and made me cold...perhaps some longer ones might have been better.

I have 2 pairs, they are fine. They last longer than sealskins but not as warm.

They are on the small side though which is worth knowing if you are between sizes. I guess this is to keep the water from running down your leg and filling them up.

Work really well for me.

Bought a pair early Spring 2020 and got my lad to get me a couple more pairs for Christmas.

Have both Dex and Sealskinz. Both are a bit of disappointment in area of waterproofness and insulation.
Please keep in mind that I suffer with cold feet, so might be for someone not affected like me they will be OK.

Cheers!
I.

Work much better than Sealskinz for me. They should only let water in if you don't cover the tops with another clothing layer. All waterproof socks will let water in unless you do this! They last much longer from repeated washing, compared with SS (my last pair of SS's came apart after a couple of months and the waterproof liner detached itself from the sock in the washing machine).

Little bit better than sealskinz for me but then I've always been pretty happy with sealskinz. They will be cold if you get teh thin ones (but they're ideal for wearing other socks under)

Not bad but as hooli says undersized. I bought XL an they were so tight that I gave them to size 9 son and they fit perfectly
