Worth the faff of taking off all the spokes, or just cut them off and pay for new ones later? It's taken me a lot longer than I planned just to get two off so far.

The new rim might have a different depth to it, so unless you already know you are getting the same one to replace it, I'd just chop them off.

Depends.

I can build wheels, so I ALWAYS save spokes for future use. I think it's wasteful to chop them off!

Tip - A cordless drill/screwdriver us your best friend here!

Cheers, went through the pain of taking them all off in the end! I got some help though.
