by landing on my head (I appreciate this is not how you're supposed to ride a bike, insults on a postcard :P)
It was a Giro Montaro MIPS, it was quite comfy and clearly works as designed. They even seem to have sorted out the disintegrating pads.
So, with that said, I'm about to drop another £125 on a helmet I'd be keen to hear about anything else that might be on the market in a similar price range.
Don't Gyro sill have a crash replacement policy
Didn't know about that, but checking it out, it's more than two years old so I don't qualify...
Pity about that
Giro Chronicle is cheaper and has MIPS. I find mine very comfy and not too hot.
I did the same Thursday and wrote off my smith forecast mips, ordered same on straight away as it’s the best I’ve ever had. Can be had for around £110 if you look hard enough
Wrote off my Kali Maya 2 and knocked myself out, so thought I’d try a Endura MT500. Picked one up for £99
If it ain't broke, don't fix it. If it is and you liked it, get another one!

They definitely do - but you have to email and phone to order. Not sure about the 2 year thing

Think I'm gonna go Montaro again (for full price - see link). Cheers for replies.
