Looking at an Ex1501 wheelset but the colours are off.
Anyone know if they are stickers or painted? Can I strip them to plain black?
They aren't stickers on the 1501 wheel sets.
Waterslide decals or something, i am tempted to try white spirit or something similar as the graphics are a bit much for me.
Nothing seems to touch it so just going to have to live with them - tried every sort of solvent I can find now.
Cover them with other stickers from Slik?
I bought a well used Spectral with 1501 wheels, the decals were pretty scabby so removed them with Cellulose Thinners and a scotchbrite pad, Got to be careful not to remove the black anodising on the rim.
I contacted DT about mine. I was told I was a silly boy for even dreaming of taking them off.
