Bumber - always stick it back in your forks soon as the wheels out.

I've now left over £100 of Trek ABP skewers in car parks and fields all over the country. Bloody annoying.

I feel your pain bro.
the agony of thinking 'do i drive home and back again... can't face it...'

did a similar thing on a trip to wales recently, magura maxle that there was close to zero chance finding in any websites let alone shops...
luckily the misses was at home and could fedex the QR to arrive next day.
is there any way anyone could courier it? it cost about 20£ and arrived before 9am.
I hired a bike for the 1st day so got a ride in at least.

I was so desperate I couldn't even spell it. Cheers for the ideas all. Including you patriotpro, it was just what I needed to hear right then, maybe you should consider writing a book of top tips, I'm sure it'd be a stunning success. Only joking but some passers by in the carpark heard a few words they probably weren't expecting to hear.

Anyhoo, trip to Summit, £55 quid for a Fox 15mm QR (ouch), 20 pence worth of washers from the local motor factors, 5 minutes with a file and I was back in business. Did the Syfydrin trail, bloody hell there's a lot of pedalling. And water crossings. And gates. Still better than not riding though!

WIN!

Glad you got out there. It's a lovely trail that, a real mix of playground and countryside.
