I was Speedfreek on dw. Really liked that forum, but it never really recovered from that quiet spell it went through.
The whole humour of the place seemed better than here. Much less angry...

I frequented it years ago...like turn of the century years ago...did 3 seasons of racing on the back of a tandem (I say racing - we turned up and rode the course but it wasn't entirely a race against anyone else!)...they had a few pictures of us in race reports but I can't find them now...would be amazing to find those again...

I think I bought a Trek Remedy off you Doug after an ad on DW about 2010 maybe? Loved that bike. Not sure why I sold it on...

I was a member but it was a pretty Scotland-centric site so it was always a little distant so I was more of a lurker than a participant.

Possibly? 2009 model, white and bronze with lyriks, I lived in Dalry at the time? Loved it too, only just sold on the 2010 Remedy I replaced it with.

Ha, I was the4thdeadmonk on there, went through a bit of a self righteous phase racing on a rigid bike but also enjoyed posting trailbuilding photos and meeting folk at races/Innerliethen days out
