Any real world experiences? Do they suffer from the same variable bite point issue as XT's?

My mate has them and went from Avid four pot to these and they are head n shoulders above the Avids

never used the XTR but he’s a big lad and has no issue stopping on mega steep trails and no fading

I like mine.

The bite point is always the same but brutal compared to the other brakes I had, 2 pot Shimano.

Easy to set up and use.

How is the modulation on them? Are they on/off or linear?

Very on/off I'd say after coming from Hopes and older Shimano 2 pots.

Fitted them to my e-bike and were great, lots of power. As others say similar on/off bite point to other Shimanos but I like that
