Lower loop at Gisburn is fine, bit of snow higher up and ice on fire roads here and there. But it looks like you get to play on their new skills bit, which looks great fun. (not me, pic nicked from FB)

Delamere is hard going, under the snow it's ice and where that isn't present it's really quite sloppy

John only did the lower loop, skills area and new stuff. Hully gully has snow but I don't ride it in the winter.

No, the skills section is near Cocklet Hill. From Cocklet Hill go straight on onto the new trail instead of turning left down the fireroad. At the end of the new single track cross the fireroad and take the next section of new trail up the right hand side of the new carpark. At the top in the stone circle go left into tge skills area, go right to continue on the new trail.

rode gisburn this morning, all rideable. a bit of snow here and there, a bit of ice here and there, but the weather was glorious which more than made up for any unintentional drifting! 😕

some very nice new sections opened since i was last there, well done to all involved.

Ride Delamere last night.

Seems to be ok off the beaten tracks, few branches are covering parts of the forest

Old Pale was slippy.

Would be great on the fat bike.

Am there on Sunday, riding from the Wirral around 9am
