Fairly new to Di2 but my chain & cassette could do with a good clean. I generally use an old paint brush to clean the cassette and chain rings and then a Park chain cleaner/rollers, all done with on bike and using biodegradable chain cleaner.

Any precautions I should take to protect the Di2 derailleurs?

Also, I've got Giant PowerPro power meters on the cranks so I want to make sure I don't damage them either...

No, have you seen a pro mechanic wash a bike?

I've had eTap since it came out and power meters for years and never taken any extra precautions.

You’ll be surprised what Di2 can stand up to, I used to dunk my cross bike in the lake after racing, no problem at all!

Even my stages power meter still worked once the battery compartment dried out!

DI2 connections are waterproof so clean away! Just don’t force water into battery doors. I take the battery off the AXS stuff before washing, as why not? it’s so easy.

I've lost the covers for my AXS stuff so leave battery on...all watertight and good.

Cheers! Just thought I'd check in before doing something stupid and expensive...
