"deep" centrelock lockring?

I've a CL wheel that I'd like to put on the wife's ebike.  Best option I've got for wheel speed magnet is the standard Cannondale 6 bolt "ring" which I think would work a treat but would fit outside the rotor and effectively increase the thickness of the rotor seat, jeopardising the (daftly small) lockring insertion.  My easiest solution would seem in my mind to be a longer thread insertion lockring but all the ones whose spec I can see (just aliexpress/amazon stuff shows this) are pretty uniform at 4.4-4.6mm.

Does anyone know of a brand that has (or even just seems to) a longer thread?

Next option - what experience do people have of gluing magnets to rotors?

Anything better?

Thankingyou

Please don't make me rebuild 2 wheels 😒

why can you not buy a centre lock disc with built in magnet?

or just the centrelock ring with built in magnet.

External lockring versions also available from www.freewheel.co.uk

Sorry, should've said.  The bike's sensor offset seems to be further than shimano's lockring or rotors seem to offer (and so I'm extrapolating that most others would be same).  Certainly the fancy Magura rotor on the existing wheel has what I assume is a hole for a magnet but it's too close to the axle and the cannondale adaptor doesn't match it

There's stuff like this that looks more likely but once you know there's more than one "standard", ... (FWIW, mine is approx 39mm offset from centre)

want me to measure how deep the threads are (tomorrow)?

That's very kind but I actually have a shimano lockring here and it's the usual depth.

I've had a "great" idea though - buy a cheap alu BB tool (44mm/16t) and cut that to length (bit longer than that TQ image above), with an indent for the magnet to glue in.  Then gently squeeze it in a vice to make an interference fit on the lockring (or maybe just hotglue it onto the lockring I guess)

Could the lockring from a boost adaptor kit work? Might actually be too long.

Sorry NW, please can you explain?  I'd have thought that the lockring would be no different, just that the whole rotor interface would be spaced outwards (but then I've never seen one)

Ah, wait - googling SUGGESTS possibilities but not yet seen any specs.  Thanks

The ones I have are basically an extra thick disc interface with a longer/deeper lockring (because it has to go through the extra depth of the "spacer".

Thanks, yeah I got there in the end (I was imagining something much more complicated, since I couldn't find deeper lockrings on their own).  Ordered. 👍
