We are organising a ride as a tribute to our friend Deejay.
It's on Sunday 14th July and we are setting off from the Dales Centre in Reeth at 10am
It will be a leisurely ride, approx 2.5hours but we are allowing 4 hours if that makes sense.
In true Deejay style though there is plenty of climbing!!!!
The plan is to meet Daves family at the top of Fremington Edge where his family will scatter his ashes., then descend back to the centre for refreshments if you wish.
Stu at the Dales Centre is organising a field adjacent to the river for parking so there will be plenty of room.

This is a really wired post. We were just discussing our holidays and a stop over in Osmotherly is on the cards as we head up to Hagerston. Last time I rode with DeeJay and his mates was when I was over there last year.
Any reasonably priced b&b's in the area if the Dales centre is full? Might not get there till 10pm 🙄

We are aiming for about 2.5hrs, but allowing up to 4 to cover for eventualities. See the OP for more details if required.
Hmmm! I may be able to get I'm off and no plans as yet been awhile since I pushed my bike up the climd to Fremmington Edge.

Not going to make the ride after all. The logistics of working till 6pm today, a 3hr drive and then trying to get back home in time for night shift really is`nt feasible 🙄
