Or within 30 mins. What is there?
Very little! Take a road bike - beautiful road riding, but trails? Not a lot. A little bit on the Preseli hills and I believe there are a few new trails at Lys Y Fran, but very little else...
Preselis for natural, llys y fran for trail centre type trails
Brechfa isn't far away and is within striking distance for a Wednesday afternoon (if you're aware of the significance of those?)
Not within 30 mins though...
I know not of what you speak @roadie_in_denial, is there a password?
Good point bigdaddy - my bad.
From memory - weren't there some cheeky trails in the vicinity of Narberth? I never took the mountain bike out that way so can't speak from personal experience.
You’ve got a few choices; all a bit flawed. Head to Llys y Fran reservoir and ride the newish trails there. Good for an hour or two. 12 sections that all start and finish on the main track around the lake so if you like a section (they are only short) you can loop back and do it again.
Head to Rosebush and ride the forest tracks and moorland bridleways of the Preselis. Good for a half day of natural XC pedalling.
Head south to the Stackpole estate and explore the woods there; some handmade trails built by the NT rangers there. Combine it with a trip over to St Govans by lanes and bridleways. Nice place to explore with a map.
Or do the same around Strumble Head, Garn Fawr and Mathry. Lots of lanes and bridleways with stunning views from the e high bits.
Any other questions then let me know!
