I think the Kenda Juggernauts on my Dune have just about had enough.

I've had them on there all seasons and meh..., they're fine. Only thing is they've always seemed a bit paper thin and today's Cotswolds rocks pushed the multiple anchovy repairs in the sidewalls and treads over the edge.
So, does anyone have any recommendations at the more budget end of the scale?
Cheers.
A decent pair of tyres will set you back £90+ but used ones often come up on the UK Fat Bike Club sales pages on FB.
First bet would be find a lightly used pair of on one floaters, failing that Vee Tyre has been a good budget option
got crown gems on the plus bike & love em
half the price of Maxxis chronicles
I am using Vittoria Bomboloni on my fatty found them to be a nice tyre can get lairy in thick mud but apart from that seem fine and roll quite well without any self steer can be had off ebay for £50 or look out for some second hand floaters

For what little there is in it, I'd probably go JJs, if it's mainly for nice "summer" tyres.
Unashamed hijack.
I currently have a set of Maxxis Mammoths on my fat bike, which I'm looking to split so I can pilfer some of the parts for another build. Would be more than happy to fish them off my rims for you. They're the 120tpi EXO version so should fend off rocks pretty well.
I've only used them 3 times too. Let me know if you're interested, I've got 4 tubes I'll chuck in too.
I've a pair of barely used Surly BFLs if you're interested, they still have some of the rubber flakes on them, I'd be willing to do them for £100 a pair, email in profile if you're interested (:
Thanks for the suggestions and offers folks. I've seen a fairly ok deal on some 4.8 JJ's so I think they'd suit it well.
Just need to sort the BB out now as that's creaking like a mofo.

Where from...? After this mornings sidewall puncture, I maybe in the market for some new tyres too... 🙄
Slam69 a pair for about a hundred notes.
I found that if you want folding, 120 tpi, you're generally not going to get below about the 50 quid an end mark.
So... After getting another three nicks in the sidewall of the Kenda Juggernaut on the back of my Calibre Dune, I think I need a tyre with a bit more sidewall protection.

Jumbo Jim 26x4.8 are still £104 a pair off Slam69 and Maxxis Mammoth 26x4 are £68 a pair off Planet X (shudder), although I sort of fancy some Minions or Bud & Lou.
Having said that, 99% of my riding is on bridleways and byways, linked with vast tracks of tarmac; I get to a trail centre about once a year. Given how dry it is, can anyone stop me dithering and tell me which tyre combo would be best...?
You’d have to pry my 4.8 jjs from my cold dead fingers... on both bikes...
JJs are great in the dry and just anout OK all year.
I wouldn’t put a Mammoth on the front, they’re OK as a rear but not as good as a JJ for anything.
Floaters are a good allrounder. Not as fast as JJs.
These are on offer for about £80.00 a pair

@monkeysfeet Those are the LiteSkin ones though, so I'm assuming they don't have the same sidewall protection as the SnakeSkin ones...? Having said that, it's still a good deal to buy two single tyres for about £90 delivered.
If I plump for Jumbo Jim's, am I going to notice any difference between (the presumably older) PaceStar and Addix Speedgrip compounds...? As all the deals appear to be on the PaceStar ones. TIA.
