Is there a go to supplier for downtube decals etc or should I go to the manufacturer? Thanks
Depends on the manufacturer. Plenty of aftermarket places such as Slik Graphics too

Also known as Retrodecals on Facebook.
Invisiframe.
Cheers
SDG - stickers decals Graphics are good not used them yet but know the guy who runs it.
Always recommend trying the manufacturer initially, in most case you won't get a response or if you model is older than a couple of years, in most cases they won't have anything available
I specialize in the older models from 1990-2000 and purely MTB brands but can re-draw pretty much anything, I supply on a bespoke "one to one" basis all over the world, but also supply several of the smaller UK manufactures and frame re-finisher shops, I've done this for nearly 20 years, so I know my stuff 🙂
If this is of interest whiz me over a photo or link to what your looking to match and I'll let you know what's possible ~ salesATretrodecals.co.uk

Second for SDG. I had some glitter Red Fox 32 SC decals and the quality was superb. Slik are good too, but I'm not sure if they do frame graphics?
Had some fork decals from D.E Decals and wasn't that impressed. They took over a week to arrive (in stock), I messaged but didn't get a reply then they turned up the next day. The colour print wasn't that good either.
Gil above, did some custom decals for my old Bontrager recently, good comunication throughout the process and arrived very quickly after the design was finalised, reasonably priced as well, thoroughly recommended!
Invisiframe very good service
Slik again very good service both the above matched colours perfectly
Indiprint . very very slow to reply to emails and quality of decals just very poor
