i was out today on my full sus bike and realized that the Manitou preload forks on the front were not giving the rebound that i like. So, i was thinking and nothing could come to me except buying new shocks for the front. Is that my only option? if not what sould i do and if so what shocks are decent but not overly expensive?
thanks
Get them? serviced. You haven't given enough info to suggest replacements, though if they are as old as they sound you'll be looking at second hand.
thanks
Welcome to the forum mooserider!
A lot of knowledgeable and helpful people on here.
Good luck getting it sorted! 🙂
thanks guys
New bike is the only option 😉
But yeah, service. Forks should be serviced frequently. Basic lowers service is a fairly easy DIY job if you're okay with spannering. Otherwise take to a shop or send them off to somewhere like TF Tuned.
