My old Hope Vision 4 died a couple of nights ago so I'm trawling around for replacements….(I'm not too unhappy as I've had it from new about 7-8 years ago I think….)

Anyone come across some awesome deals??

I'm thinking Exposure Maxx D or Hope R4 at the moment……but wouldn't mind hearing some recommendations??

Might be worth giving Hope a call first, their customer service is second to non in my experience, even on discontinued items.

Went from a Vision 4 to a MTB Batteries Lumenator myself.

It's honestly better in terms of light beam and battery life, reliability been great too - with UK support just in case.

I've just put the old light in a box and posted it off to Hope - I'll see what they come back with before I spank a load of cash on a new one!!! 😀

Right - posted to Hope last weekend - it has arrived back in today's post (it only arrived with them on Tuesday!!) having been overhauled and repaired1

I couldn't be more impressed with Hope customer service - this must be a 7 year old light!!!!

Big thumbs up for Hope!

Outstanding! I have an R4 which is 4 yr old & wasn't holding charge.(or so I thought) Sent it back, had it returned with a new charger FOC.
All my brakes, hubs, BB's & seatclamps are Hope & have been for over 12 years but It's only the 3rd time I've had an issue. The other 2 were broken axles, again sorted FOC, no questions.
(No doubt the flamers will be along soon saying how crap Hope stuff is so they need to have good backup)

I've just sent them an email thanking them for their excellent service - I have a hope headset, BB, hubs and brakes on my MTB…..and I won't be moving away from them as a brand. I'm still gobsmacked by the service!!

One of my mates has an old vision 2 which has been back to Hope a couple of times, I think he's hoping that they won't repair it so he has an excuse to buy a new light!

Not so much the lights, as hubs -- I think I had a hub sent back once, repaired FOC through the LBS.

Looking down at my wheels out at the weekend - I think my first upgrade to my 1998 M2 might have been some wheels - obviously rims long gone but hubs F=R still roll on - XC I think. not much beyond 2001/2 anyway..
Front, disc, rear, non-disc.
