Hi

What's the best way to de-restrict a Bosch engined cube stereo ?

I've found these two sites selling them
badass - clip on
SX2 - wired in

One is a clip on system and one wires in,

I'm concerned about invalidating the warranty so I'm guessing clip on May be best (assuming they do the same job)

Also would a diagnostic show the motor had been deristricted ?

Either way will invalidate the warranty, and yes, a diagnostic would probably show up something odd.

Take the motor off and just pedal it.

Bike neil- it would be harder to ride without the motor even though it would be lighter

Why not ask on a motorbike forum as that is what you want to turn it in to.

Start small and work your way up in size, apparently.

I'm tempted on the basis of that to go out and buy one and I don't even have an e-bike.

wonder how many points it adds up to for no insurance/no licence/road tax/unregistered vehicle?
