We had a weekend in Belgium, and saw an advert for this:
I quite fancy that, I've never raced abroad, so that will be a first, I've never entered a mass event (1300 riders) apart from the early 24 hour events where maybe 400 were on the course at one time, and I've never raced on a beach.
So I'd really like to do it.
I've got a suitable rigid MTB, just need some suitable tyres.
Has anyone done it, any tips for racing on sand? The beach is pretty hard when the tide is out, so it wont all be in ankle deep soft sand.
