pick your own colour is fine, but dont underestimate the number of people who dont want to make yet another decision.

every frame should be available in matt black and 1 garish colour (kwaka green/tango orange/custard yellow) as standard, then for a small extra charge you can pick your own?

Possibly have a solution to appease most potential customers.

Will put something on the website or Facebook page later/this week.

If I remember correctly when the first Prince Alberts were available the pre-orders could be had in the colour of your choice... same again would be cool 8)

Messiah, that was a logistical nightmare in the end. 100 frames in about 12 different colours, and two people wanted pink!

Tymbian, depends how busy the UK paintshop is I suppose.

I've put some details up on the Dialled Bikes Facebook page now.

Mike,
Got it you have to be a "Friend" to see the timeline on the site which contains the post details. Love the YS7463 by the way.

I was thinking that YS7463 looks good, I used to have a Titus switchblade in that colour.

YS2311 looks good as well

YS 804 and YS 8099.

Unfortunately if facebook is being blocked so will links to its image site.

However you can see them here:
http://www.y-s-paint.com.tw/colorsen.asp?kind=1&kind2=54

Oh yeah the the correct answer is 8099

According to the words to the side, Mike is only considering those two greens. I would like Orange or Yellow, but would be pretty happy with green tbh.

So the choice is kermit green
[img] [/img]

Or accountant black/white/grey

From the FB page....
The great Alpine colour debate rumbles on! After considerable discussion with potential customers by e-mail and on the STW forum, here's what I hope is a way forward. The frames will come in 2 colours - white and 1 other colour from the choices specified below. For people who don't like either of those colours, there will be an optional extra to have the RAL colour of choice (within reason) for an additional surcharge (between £40-£50 TBD). Custom paint jobs will be done by Superbike Dan at PWS Finishing.

There's more in the comments section, which then states the choices are kermit green or KERMIT GREEN!

You have to click on each of the pictures and read the comments down the side. There are three greens and two blues for comment.

8099 - super luminous green and 7674 are my picks 😀 The 7674 blue looks a lot more interesting than the other one, a guy on the FB page described the other as very 'primary' looking (a bit boring) which is a good description imo.

It's a bit tricky doing it this way though as all the colours will look different depending on the monitors we're using.

Ahhh, missed that.

Either green (8099) or blue would be good IMHO.

For clarification the standard colours will be WHITE and one of the following:

YS804 or YS8099 (neon/luminous greens) or YS7463 or YS464 (transparent blues).

I'm not considering doing any other colours than the ones stated above.

I like 7463 as it reminds me of Audi Sprint Blue, which might be quite apt given how popular Audis are on this here forum 😉

I've had my (originally black) Mk1 P.A. resprayed in white and now green, the latter a bit lighter than BRG which I considered, but wanted something a bit more cheerful

From Dialled Bikes via Facebook

Alpine colours update.

OK, I've been decisive and selected the following 2 colours for the new Alpine Mk3 frames: WHITE & ORANGE.

I chose these colours as they're both tried, tested and popular colours in other Dialled Bikes frames, but I've never released Alpines in this colour. In the end, I didn't feel comfortable using the greens and blues I was considering, as I hadn't sampled them yet, and I'm a bit fussy like that.

The custom colour (within reason) option will still be available through Superbike Dan at PWS for an extra £50.

Hopefully, the colour choices won't disappoint too many folk. At the end of the day, it's about how the bike rides rather than what colour it is (hopefully they will all get thrashed to within an inch of their lives and be covered in dirt and battle scars most of the time anyway!).

Colour was never a primary consideration of many anyway so it don't bother me 8)

The colour doesn’t really bother me either, however, if I was about to order an Alpine it does help that two of my favourite hardtails were orange (Dialled PA), and white (Voodoo Bizango).

Although it won't necessarily be 100% finished, I'm hoping the new Dialled Bikes website will go live this week, and Alpine pre-order details will go up then.

Alternatively, if anyone wants to reserve an Alpine in the standard white or orange colours, drop me an e-mail and I will add them to the order book so their frame is reserved.

Sorry for slight slackness. I've spent too much time messing about with BMX stuff again this season instead of getting any work done 😳
