To those in the 'know'

What did the frequent graffiti tag "Darlo under 5's" mean?

I have to say I really don't miss living in Darlo

Yeah, the Under 5s tags are everywhere; I've always assumed it was a footy gang thing, but was never sure. HMD is all over the place near me, which I discovered is Haughton Mad Dogs yesterday.

For Darlo-dwellers, there's going to be a launch of a "Dutch Bike" loan scheme in the town centre on Valentines Day. If you fancy seeing a bit of Copenhagen Cycle Chic in Darlo, get yourself along. Could be a good way of gently encouraging wives, girlfriends and daughters to think about getting about by bike.
