Hi
I’ve been thinking about a road bike and saw this when searching for deals:

Looks like a good deal for the spec but I'm an MTBer so need some advice abot road kit.
Any thoughts? Anyone got one?
Cheers.
Rode one of those (with 105) in Mallorca at the start of the season.
Pretty nice ride to be fair. I was on the XL at 6'4" which felt a smidge too long but comfortable none the less.
At £800 I'd say that was a steal.
A few years ago when I was considering a return to road after 20 years exlusively mtbing I borrowed a bike fitted with Campy Veloce, and owned by a campag fan and ex-industry bod. It very nearly put me off road bikes. Seriously. Luckily I later tried a bike with Shimano (105 5700, nothing fancy) and it was joy in comparison and I now ride far more on road than off.
Don't know that bike, but Willier is brand with history and a decent rep, and if you give the Veloce to your local farmer to put on a tractor where it belongs 105 5800 11spd is less than 300 quid, and even better than the 10 speed variation.
How tall are you? This is a STONKING deal, if it was in my size I'd have snapped it up (Saracen 54 is more like a 52, I ride 54 in other bikes but my Saracen Hack is a labelled as 56, despite measuring 54....).
