Managed to run into Danny MacAskill when out at the weekend seasoning a huge step down from the harbour wall onto a old winch. Awesome to experience firsthand. Pulled a bit of footage together.
Well done for landscape format use. All your companions had portrait mode engaged. 🙂
Shows how much effort and repetition is needed to get the shot right.
Nice!
I've seen him doing the drop and roll tour at Fort William but it must be great to see him out in the wild as it were trying new stuff!
Saw a video on faceache of him riding across the viaduct recently
seasoning a huge step
you'd have thought the harbour would be salty enough 😉
Maybe it should have been:
seasoning a huge drop gap garfish.
Agree on the kudos for filming in landscape whilst others around you perpetuate the idiocy.
One of the biggest issues facing modern humanity is continuing to film in portrait even despite all those online videos that look utter rubbish as a vertical stripe in the middle and black either side and just never learning from it....ever.... 🙄
Sorry to rant but I find it staggering tbh... 😂
Cool video. Must have been awesome to watch him in the flesh. I can imagine that drop is bigger than it looks 😳
Portrait is the modern way.
I used to hate people using portrait mode. But now I realise I watch most of my stuff on a phone screen, actually portrait isn't that bad.
That's quite the gap between wall and winch!

Do you even Insta bro 😉
Do you even Insta bro 😉
Insta is mostly square, except for stories which encourage this utter madness.
It's fine, I realise I'm in a minority who find it baffling. 😊👍
