[Closed] Damaged bike. Insurance replacement. Anybody had experience?

Hi all.

Have independent insurance on my bike (E and I). Which covers it for accidental damage.

Unfortunately I came off recently and put a dent in the top tube.

The bike is worth and insured for quite a bit. ££££'s

I am putting in a claim. As part of the claim I have to get two estimates to quote how much it would cost to repair the damage.

Just curious to see if anyone else has had experience with independent insurers in the matter. And what their outcome was.

Was the frame replaced or swapped for a newer model. Was a whole new bike granted?
