You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
The free map you get at the Dalby visitor centre is ok, but not that great if you want to cut a route short or get lost. The old maps are far better and fortunately recycler from this forum has kept some 6-7 years of them.
So big thanks to him for forgetting his maps in the back of my car - I have now scanned them in 600 dpi and put them online for you all. 🙂
You can find them here: http://www.complite.com/mtb/maps/dalby/
Please note that they do not have the corner points (the numbering system) but get the new free map alongside these and you are sorted.
See you in Dalby - hopefully not lost.
Cheers,
Chrace
I'm there in a few weeks so that's amazing thanks. 😀
Well they were pretty terrible in the wet but in the dry I used to love the second part of the old red route - there was a dirty slidy slalom downhill bit in between trees that I loved, then the long singletrack back to the car park.
They're excellent in all weathers, mainly due to the natural feel of them now and the lack of armour glad weekend warriors on them. But we can wave goodbye to than now :S
They're excellent in all weathers
Except when iced. It hurts.
I'm heading to Dalby for the first time on saturday, is there anything I need to know? (Apart from the parking charge)
Quality of cake?
Black sections worth doing?
Start at Adderstone so you get the cafe halfway around (and you can end the ride with a mess about at Dixons Hollow or a quick lap of the Worlds course).
