You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Going on a weeks break soon with the family and will be stopping close to Dalby Forest. Plan is to do all the reds but would appreciate any tips on which routes are worth doing. Anything leading away from the trails ?
Advice is welcomed

Plenty of fun on the red trail, you could spend a few hrs practicing your jumps in halcums hole
The Bike barn at Dalby does a very nice off piste evening ride most Tuesday nights. I believe if you ring and book, you can rent lights and book a snack/meal afterwards.
Been once last year, about a month after I'd just bought my very first 'proper' mountain bike.
The red was over 20 miles if I remember rightly. Lots of pedally fast flowing singletrack sections linked by fireroad climbs. Really enjoyed myself. Would love to go back now I've picked up a few more skills.
Heartily recommended.
Red is very good. Holds up well in the rain too but eats pads as it's so sandy.
The old World Cup XC route was amazing, not sure if they have reopened it yet. Worth a detour off the red to do Worry Gill, Medusas etc...

The red with the black and WC off-shoots is good. Quite a long pedally trail and you'll get people complaining its too bumpy etc etc but its a real good workout if you attack it all flat out.
There are quite a lot of off-piste bits but if its your first time you're better off just sticking to the marked stuff unless you have someone with local knowledge with you.
