Have done a forum search but nothing has come up so.....

Where to stay for a weekend at Dalby? Group of lads, something cheap and cheerful.

Suggestions please.

Thanks

There's a campsite Called High Rigg? IIRC.. That's very close to Dalby.

Edit: found it Here you go....

We stayed in the Youth Hostel about 2 miles away if that, was very good, bike storage, bike wash and the lady who looks after the place is very friendly. And of course cheap and cheerful. But don't expect a lie in, keenos in YHS like to get up early and talk loudly about over paying their mortgages and the current MPG of the Audi A4. yawn.

Four of us rented Pace Cycles house in Thornton Le Dale - it wasn't too pricey, was very smart, near to pubs and had a secure garage with anchor points. I think it can sleep up to 6 or 7 at a push and it's £250 for 2 nights so not bad split between a group.

It was nice to have some comfort and a hot shower after a days riding.

Another vote for Trailside. Stayed there with mates and with family and its perfect for both. Plus you couldn't wish for a nicer bunch of people to deal with than the Pace lot.
