Suspect this is gonna lead to crushing disappointment but here we go.

Ive lost the little magnetic clip for the bladder hose on a Dakine bum bag fanny pack Hot laps, whilst getting it ready for its maiden voyage. A quick google suggests they are cheap to replace so I order a couple more. Or I would, but seemingly the only shop in Europe/apparently the world to have any stock of them is dakine-shop.com, a shop in Germany and guess where they no longer ship to, for some reason or another...

Are Dakine still being brought in to the UK, and thus I just need to ask the shop I bought it from to order me some spares from a disti or have I effectively pissed £45 up the wall?

Regards,
Frustrated & Dehydrated of Leeds

Had some Dakine gloves split shortly after purchase last year.

I first tried Dakine in Canada and they directed me to a European office and eventually I got some replacement gloves

Try info@dakine-europe.com.

I’ve got a Dakine Amp back pack, a few years old now. When new the bite valve was useless so I replaced it with a Osprey bite valve and magnetic clip.

That might work, just the magnetic clip.

Might be worth dropping them an email, I’ve been on the hunt for some shifter adapters for my TRP brakes, uk importer don’t sell them and weren’t interested in helping so I emailed trp Germany and it’s all being sorted. Had something similar a couple of years back with Manitou when crc/hotlines couldn’t help with a part I was after.

I broke the magnet wotsit on my Osprey fanny pack by slamming it in the van door.

I just tuck the end of the hose under the belt instead.

Am still alive.

Email sent, got a flat ‘Nein!’ in response.

STW is better than that though, and a very kind forumite has offered up their in laws German address for me to post it to, and then bring them over when they visit.

Regards,

Grateful of Leeds.
