Pretty sure it was 16mm or thereabouts - I had to ream some spacers out to make them fit it.

it's bigger than 15mm, that's for sure, as I tried it with some 15mm ID hub bearings and it didn't fit.

kamenev I measured it up as 16.2mm

wwaswas what did you buy? I drew up some press adapters that i was looking to get machined however it never worked out.

I got one of those DIY ones which come with 50mm OD washers as I plan to install the cups on in 44mm headtube unfortunately the external contact diameter area of the bottom cup (Hope) is larger than 50mm. Ordered a 1.5 press adapter from the states (before I realised I could get a custom laser cut washer for far less!). The adapter has in ID of 5/8" so the closests metric rod is 14mm. I need a 14mm rod anyway as I have the park tool bb tool which comes with the brushings for when I replace my BB on my other bike.

Just been looking at the cyclus one because I like the way the stepped brushings keep the cups aligned when you install them. Probably not needed but its the first time I am doing it so naturally have some anxiety about it.

Rusty Mac - someone on here offered up a set in the classifieds they'd bought from the States, the internal diameter was just slightly out.

Think they'd lost interest/bought something else so I bought them and reamed them out as per that thread.

I have the same headset press, but no means to measure it accurately.

However, I have just bodged some basic press adaptors from some thick polymer sheet and used a 16mm drill for the centre. So I'd agree with the previous comments on it being at least 16mm.

I am thinking about making the bits from acrylic discs stuck on top of the each with modelling plastic cement. There are places online which cut them to size and will also drill the hole in.

Did also wonder whether adapters could be made by one of the online laser cutting places but don't really know much about. I would think its more of a milling job
