Can you get that Cube from a UK shop for that money?
So you can try it?
I prefer the look of the cube fwiw.
Yes £1399 RRP in the UK so if I went cube I'd try my LBS
Looking a little closer the claimed weights are; Cube 9.9kg , Canyon 8.9kg
It's not obvious where the extra kilo is though, if the stated weights are accurate. Both are specced very similar. The Canyon is marginally better as the DT wheels look better than the Aksiums on the Cube but there's very little else to split them. Maybe the stem/seatpost/seat/bars on the Canyon are genuinely lighter...?
I'd go for the Canyon for the looks alone, and any weight saving is a bonus!
Shame that Rose Bike are not even announcing their new models till Oct/Nov, given their German competitors will be shipping soon. As I bet they are going to be as keenly priced, and make a lovely frame. Lightweight too.
Rose will have a bike with that spec coming out, I asked them. Not saying prices yet.
I'm wondering if the weight on that cube is a typo.
Geometry on them both is very different??

I know, as we discussed it in the other thread. It's just not even announcing a spec/price so people could consider it as an option, whilst Cube/Canyon/Giant/Spesh etc, all have their 2015 options out there.
R685 not R785. Mechanical shifters rather than electronic. I got excited at that price. However, both seem like bargains as similarly specced road bikes are more expensive.
