I want to give cyclocross racing a shot.
What size bike should I get?
Should it be the same size as my road bike or slightly smaller for getting round the course?

Dude. You posted the same question less than an hour ago.

Just bump the old thread, or have a little patience.

Generally go for a size down from your road bike. I'm 5'9 and ride a 54cm road bike so i have a 52 CX bike and it seems to work well for most. I'd also consider a bike with a disc set up as that was the first thing i changed after i'd done a few races, canti brakes just don't work and having some sort of stop-ability is rather nice when you're bombing round a muddy CX course.

Sorry Jamie. Should be a Luddite button somewhere, didn't do it on purpose...
Thanks epo, kinda what I thought about frame size, I'm looking for an ebay/gumtree bargain with or without discs, hopefully we see you out there this winter.
