I see the inevitable happened and OutsideInc has let go Cayley Fretz (editor in chief), Dave Rome (technical editor), and Matt de Neef (managing editor).

Velonews has also lost a staff member. So far it doesn't look like this has affected Pink Bike.
To me this kills off the brand as most of the reason I read and followed their news is the stories that these guys brought to the site. RIP CyclingTips.
This was a nice series by Dave https://cyclingtips.com/tag/cool-tool-tuesday/
Wade Wallace the Cycling Tips founder seems to have some sort of a plan. It’s a real shame though, Cycling Tips had the right balance (to me anyway) of interesting writing about and around cycling, not just rehashes of road team transfer news and race results.
James Huang write a good piece on this as well. Maybe I should have subscribed to beta, there just seemed to be so few benefits outside the US. It makes Hannah's post on the front page event more relevant.
Yeah, I liked Dave's content when I saw it too.
As a content person myself, I did always wonder how they were funding such a big team with the amount of travel they seemed to do - and presumably not being as dominant in their sphere as Pinkbike is in MTB.
I have no inside info, but I have a hunch that might explain the changes at the top.
CT still has a lot of good contributors and I hope they can continue to do the good stuff that sets them apart from the crowd.
