Thanks to all of those who took the time to complete this - and I know many of you helped to spread the word, for which we are also very grateful.

I thought you might be interested in seeing some preliminary results...

Whohoo. I do hope that all of those who want to increase their use of land that they currently can't use also would support the same principle for trail riding rather than contradict themselves purely in self interest. Useful results but you must admit a touch one sided as, as is the normal case, those happy don't bother to do anything.
22%. Bloody lucky if you ask me. Trail riders get a lot less.

More data in Roger Geffen's blog piece here...

mattsccm - I detect a hint of sarcasm, but I'll give you a serious answer while I have my OpenMTB hat on.

Assuming you're asking about motorbikes, it's not a question that's even arisen in relation to the survey and I don't see any relevance to cycling advocacy.

The TRF looks to be doing a fine job though.

Worth reading to see if they've picked your comment to be featured, and to appreciate our Binners' lovely artwork on the intro page.

(the download link is down page in the press release)

I wonder if we could arrange a ride with them both?

Excellent work.Interesting that 13% say making it legal to ride footpaths would make no difference to them - probably because they already do!

I bet Jon Snow hits Bike Park Wales every weekend. He's got a mountain bike, at any rate.

He's got a sweet enduro colourway going with his trouser clips, and matchy helmet.
