Does anyone make nice cycling trousers/jeans, Rapha make some but not in my price. The trousers are for my commuting.

Would the howies workee be suitable?

Essentially I'm looking for a trouser or jean that does not chaff like a normal jean. I don't like the trousers covered with bright white endura logos, nor do I like the shiny JJB sports soft shell look.

I did see some jeans without a seam in the crotch area but they did look a tad feminine, but I could be persuaded.

Thanks

Surface do some - http://www.surface-clothing.com/liquistretch_trousers.php . Available in Evans.

The Alpkit Jeanius ones are pretty good for jeans, (kind of) waterproof and the stretch panel in the crotch means you don't have seams in the usual places that chafe. They're clearing stock of old ones before a new model comes in though.

Ground Effect Ranchsliders?
http://www.groundeffect.co.nz/product-detail-RAN-LON.htm

I really rate mine - have worn them in the office, playing with the kids and then out on the bike.

Something from Swrve? http://swrve.co.uk/softshell%20trouser.html
I've not tried the trousers, but I've got a pair of the 3/4 length shorts, and I think they are rather good.

Whats that fancy cycle shop down Grays Inn Road in London? They'd stock this kind of stuff.
