Hi all,

I need some new cycling shorts to replace a set that got ripped.

I've somehow become rather rotund !! and now need something 40-42 waist.

Preferably with a decent liner too.

Any recommendations please.

Endura Humvee 2 baggies. Giordana lycra bibs. Suit me very well.

I've got a pair each of the Madison shorts below in XXL and they are good but possibly just a little too big for me with a 38-40 waist; so possibly spot on for someone just that little bit bigger (I've added a bit of extra Velcro to the DWR pair let me snug them up tight enough to use without falling down now)

These seem to be on sale st a good price now too and presumably have a similar fit to the pairs listed above:

For a liner short I normally use a cheap pair from decathlon, as they seem to have a more generous cut that other ones I've tried recently. Though I also have some XXL bib shorts from Madison that aren't too bad either (there are just a little long in the leg to be a really good fit for me with my gorilla like proportions)

Fat Lad at the Back are the obvious, realistic sizing, pricey but quality materials.

D2D also do a decent range in sensible bigger sizes, can't remember if they do baggies though.

Peral Izumi do "American" sizes. When I had a 44/46 inch waist they were great.
But they can be expensive
