I own several pairs of shoes for cycling.
I have full on winter boots or vented shoes. One is too cold in this weather and the other too hot
I don't like wearing overshoes so looking for a pair of spring/autumnal weather shoes
What would folks recommend?
Ta for any help x
Good ones that fit and then some duck tape over the vents!
Shimano XC50N have covered section over the toes rather than mesh, (and its slightly wider fitting than other Shimano shoes)
I have only had mine 2 months but they have been great so far.
I use Sidi Dominators for the same reasons - on my 3rd set. The Lorica version has no mesh, and I can use them all year round with winter boots for really cold weather.
They've got pricey in the last few years and I'm not looking forward to the current ones wearing out. They last for ages though.

+1 Duck tape over the vents, makes a big difference!
Yes the duck tape method for me too.
Shimano M183's here. No vents fine in spring and autumn, without hot feet in the summer.
As above, shimano shoes that have an N suffix are "Nordic" style and unvented. I a pair and bizzarely even in high 30s temps they seemed fine whilst also being water proof (up to the ankle obviously! )
I rub surfboard wax in to the mesh in winter, keeps the wind out.
Gore tex socks help too.
