Posting links without comment. I can only assume you approve of the deathly dandyhorse.

Can't have any toe overlap if you don't have any toes

Hmmmmm. This year I fitted the ice spikes taking no chances.

Rode on them for about 50 miles, weather perfect, roads had cleared. Next 2 days the same; 'normal' conditions. Went out for 'a long one' on the 4th day (last week) - fine for the first 20 miles then snow/ice mageddon. Much foot down shitshitshittityshit action followed by a couple of slips in the shiny/slippy bit motorists haunch up at the edge of their tyres. Second one, ooya****er! One huge haematoma and a very sore hip. OK for cycling, shite for running. Bolleux.

Do go careful. 🙄

He didn't grease the bearings when reassembling the hubs.

Ever had one of those crashes where you end up with a leg (or worse) wedged between the back tyre and the seatstays, using said appendage to slow the spinning wheel?

Yea, that's a 'no' from me to the toothed wheels of disfigurement.

I was really hoping for a Kato/Clouseau moment out on the lake.

I think I'd be wearing my chainsaw trousers!

In true cartoon style he should be riding in a big circle enough times to cut a huge hole in the ice.
