Why do people do this?

Why do people ride in sunglasses when its dusk/dawn or just shite weather you dont need them?

Do they fear they dont look "leet" to ride?

I understand riding with clear, coloured or a slight tint as you dont want rubbish in your eyes. However, I went past 3 people this morning and the weather was poor, the visibility wasnt great and it was just getting light, yet all 3 had sunglasses on.

No, they werent playing a piano and singing just before you ask 😉

cos clear glasses make you look like bono, Goggles are overkill for almost all riding and people like to protect their eyes!

I'm too lazy to carry my normal glasses so often end up riding in sun glasses (prescription) if my ride runs into the hours of darkness.

Well, that's my excuse.
