So this seems like a long shot but there's an answer on here for everything. I'm in Moscow for a few weeks for work and really need to escape the hotel gym bike and get some miles in before I ride the Flanders sportive in a few weeks time. Does anyone know a good bike shop that could rent me a road bike and give me an idea where to go? The roads round here look horrendous! Any advice would be great.

That seems likely...I have an 8 lane ring road outside my hotel full of crazy drivers so it's not exactly inviting. There must be some cyclists here somewhere?

Seriously?
It is bad enough being in a car in Moscow ( as I will be next week)
They phone, text, look at face book, swear at each other, aggressive behaviour is the norm....
I have never seen a cyclist .... Russians tend to be pragmatic people.

I often work in Moscow; and usually take my bike with me. The roads are no worse than anywhere else to be honest; although still slippy at this time of year.

Decent rentals like rocking horse poo sadly; cycling is something people do round the park sadly, not on the roads.
