They aren't for everyone but felt better in the cool keeping the head warm without the need for a full hat!
Bought an Endura FS Pro cap, wore it for 2 rides, loved wearing a cap but it just didn't fit!!
Every cap I have tried in store seems too deep for my head so by the time the helmet is on and glasses it digs into my ears and is uncomfortable!!
Anyone recommend a cycling cap that has a shallower fit from experience?? LBS's only do so many!
Leave the helmet off ... get the full cap advantage.
Classic Campag ones here. Way to big for my pinhead 😆
Walz caps are available in two sizes, so might fit better than some.
The moisture wicking versions are very stretchy material, which can help with the fit. Plus its pretty thin, so not too warm under a helmet.
Rapha? Mine's shallower than some of my others, only cost £10 too, so the only piece of Rapha I own!
Excellent, cheers for some suggestions
a proper cycling cap (like the campag ones) are designed to be tall, theory being that it sits high on the head so that there is an airgap at the top to keep you cool - now that we all wear helmets it doesn't work so well
I just buy whatever's cheap and fold over the excess...
Try a buff instead?
You should think yourself lucky, they make you look a right tit.
Try a morvelo one find mine fits spot on and I look quite dapper at the cafe/cake stop
Well that's what I tell myself 😀
Walz
Red Dots Cycling caps are lovely.. they sell on the Etsy site. Best fitting cap I've got
Hopefully I'll find one that fits!!
