Hi all I was wondering at what point does the shop get paid on the cyclescheme, I am about to get a voucher for a bike and the shop I have spoken to says get the voucher and they will get the bike in ,does that then mean the bike is paid for before the shop receives it. Reason I am asking is with the current (changing daily) situation I could end up with a bike in a warehouse somewhere with me paying for it (if the cash is released prior to me receiving bike). Or would I be better to get a bike that is in stock before releasing the voucher (at point of pickup).

No the voucher is only paid on collection (there's some SMS confirmations etc at the time collection). Perfectly normal to ask for the voucher before ordering it in. That shows you're good for the purchase.
