Apologies if this has already been covered, I couldn't see anything.

http://www.cycletoworkday.org/

Tomorrow, August 6th, is Cycle To Work Day. I appreciate that for many people the world of work has changed and many people, me included, are now working from home or are not working at all. However I still plan to ride a pre-9am loop and call that my ride to work. It won't be anywhere too gnarr as I live in Northampton but it will be 90 minutes as if it were my old commute.

Anyone else getting a ride in?

I might try and get out for a token RTW spin. 🙂

I'm in the office two days a week, tomorrow is one of those days so yes I'll be riding in.

Every day, I get up an hour early and go for a "ride to work" circlular route.
Tomorrow though, I've arranged to go for a ride with my son after work, so won't be. Arf.
Ride to Work Day will be as eventful as it ever is 😛

Unless I've missed it, I'm surprised Strava haven't got in on the act, given how Boris is trying to get us on bikes to offset the Sunak special off eat-in foods.

This ^

I'm working from home so decided to use my 'extra' time to ride-to-work (at home). I shall be doing the same tomorrow morning between 6:30am and 7:30am.

Annoyingly, but also not annoyingly, I'm not at work tomorrow. I'll be walking dogs with my wife instead. I'll be back on the commute on Saturday.

Thanks for the heads up.
I may go out for a cycle round the block instead of my normal walk before heading up to my spare bedroom/ office.

I'll be cycling to work, the same as every other day at work.

The last couple of places I've worked have had a free Bacon roll for people who cycle in on C2W day, I've never known it was on and so never had a free Bacon Roll, normally it's the one day a year some people bother to get on a bicycle at all...

I doubt there will be free pig slices tomorrow, but I will still be riding a bike in, the weather is supposed to be bloody lovely.

I cycle to work everyday, 10 miles each way, even through lockdown as we were classed as key workers

As its ride to work day tomorrow i may take the car!

Maybe get the road bike out tomorrow for an hour for a token effort but it may be ride from work as there's no way I will get up early enough to do it before. I've only been to the office once since mid March and I'm not riding that tomorrow just for the sake of it.

That's my morning commute done. 25 miles of towpath, gravel tracks, bridleways and tarmac.
