Might pop down as it’s been 2 years.

Is anybody on here going/going again?

I got tickets for the 2005 one and won a Trek Remedy 5. Horrible bike.

You won a bike though!  Might just go for the hell of it.

yea it was ok. Too much of a heavy downhill beast for me. Sold it and got a Kona hardtail. So worked out well in the end. Thanks, Cycle show!

I say the same each year when this question is asked. It’s OK, the retail part is pretty limited though you can pick up the odd bit, there’s some nice kit to look at and the dirt jumps are worth a watch. Every year I say I won’t go back and every year I do…I’ve just bought this years ticket.

I do live 30 mins on the train from the NEC and have a rail card for work anyway, I’m not sure I’d go if it was tough or expensive to get there.

I would totally go if I could. Unfortunately, I am occupied elsewhere on the Saturday or I would be there.

Only consumer products show where hardly anyone is prepared to sell you anything. In contrast to the photography show in the spring where everything is for sale with show discount. Also be aware some of the big boys like Trek and Specialised will not be there. If you are thinking about buying a smart trainer it's worth a visit as you can try most of them out. If it's going to cost you significant money or time to get there I'd give it a miss.

I go every other year and that makes it OK.

I live about 1/2 hour drive from the NEC.

This year I’m not going 🙂

I live 1.5 hrs drive from there and found last time I went that some big brands were not friendly but smaller brands were happy to tell you about their products.

The test ride of e-bikes was great.

Think I might give it a miss and save £100 for a new saddle.

We're exhibiting for the first time this year. The organisers won't allow sales outside of the small retail area. We'd prefer to be in the main area but as a startup we need to subsidise the exhibiting fee with sales.

After doing the math, VIP tickets, train/car fare and parking - I bought a GoPro instead.

Last time I went I saw a loverly Condor steel frame, ask the guys to call me so I could buy it and got fed up waiting.

Cannondale were miserable.

Some fantastic e-bikes and small companies.

Chris Boardman was nice to chat with.

Great test track.

Food ran out... no coffee or cake on Saturday.
