I'd pretty much given up hope of being able to afford the bike I want this year, so was prepared to save and get something in a year or so.
But my MTB is in a bit of a sorry state and would at least need a few more parts replaced.
Then my employers cycle scheme provider opens, allowing me to choose from a range of what I consider to be more expensive and less well kitted bikes. (Halfords with the option of ordering in specific bikes where possible).
My gut feeling is to ignore it and focus on what I want for next year.
Any words of wisdom? Advice? Anyone got one of the 27.5" Boardman full sussers?
Many LBS will accept Halfords, so that could open your range of choices?
Yes, lots of other options through the Halfords scheme, including cycle surgery
You could buy a donor bike and move the bits across
I got a Bird Zero 3 through halfords cycle to work scheme. Bird weren't on the scheme so took a while to sort out but halfords and Bird were both great. As is the bike. I've even ridden it to work would you believe.
