I ordered a saddle from them two weeks ago,and the delivery advice said dispatch within four working days,and two day delivery by DPD.I have not yet received notice of dispatch,and searching their site,find under Coronavirus,a note that says delivery has beeen extended to 4-5 working days,or maybe longer.They have not replied to my email,and no-one seems to be available to answer the phone.Have they gone bust,and should I get Paypal on the case ?
Didn't Halfords close them all at the time of a boom in bike sales?
Yeah not gone bust as such but they are closing down. Website still up & taking orders at the moment though!

Ordered my wife's bike from them despite concerns as it was one of the only places left with stock!
Advertised 10 days but this was revised to 15. Comms were OK, long wait on phone but a couple of unprompted update emails which kept me from getting fidgetty.
Ultimately turned up 19 days after we ordered, or 15 working days, so not terrible given current circumstances and the obvious strain they're under.
I guess the website/ mailorder is just fulfilled by the halfords warehouse like normal?

I ordered a Fabric Scoop saddle on the 17th. 4 day dispatch, 2 day delivery. No dispatch email but my money is resting in their account. I will wait a little more but my bum is not happy about it.
I ordered 4 items earlier this week which turned up in 3 separate deliveries from DPD. 2 on the same day. One of which contained just a pack of £2.00 cable guides, the other a £6 chain keeper.
No idea what their delivery strategy is but I'd have happily waited 1 day later an got them all together.
Mate ordered an Orbea F40 through them, stated 14 days delivery - came within 3, however, charger did not work and there were scratches and marks on the bike. Took 8 days for them to reply to his email saying not happy. To be fair tho they have refunded him in full now (21 days after initial order.

Still no dispatch 2.5 weeks on. Recieved this email about the website shutting down:

Despite what the email may say about fulfilling orders, my faith is beginning to wane.
I got the same email on Wednesday,and not heard anything else,I fear my £30 has gone forever.
Can't see how you would lose money, cycle republic are / were part of halfords, if it doesn't arrive persue halfords.
4 weeks now.think I'll try Paypal first,and just try for a refund.
