I'm told that the Bike Shed has a waiting list for volunteers - surprising and heart-warming but I'm looking to help get someone involved with volunteering fairly soon.
Anyone know of any other possible places. Did I read on here about cycle path wardens?
I'm a Sustrans 'Ranger' for North Edinburgh. Depends what you want to do, but the options are extensive from litter picking (mostly what I do) to taking out rides.
Have a look at the website and there's a 'volunteer now' section, or drop me an email and I can give you some pointers or introduce you to the volunteer outreach guy at Sustrans HQ Edinburgh.
